PENDAPAT PARA ULAMA TENTANG DOA

I want to ask you a question today, when you pray to God asking for something, do you get fustrated when you don't see results after praying again, again and again asking for the same thing?

Today's topic is about DOA. I'm reading a book about "INGATLAH KEPADA ALLAH, NESCAYA ALLAH AKAN MENGINGATIMU".

According to this book, hadis meriwayat Abu Hurairah dari Nabi S.A.W. bersabda:

"BERDOALAH KEPADA ALLAH DDENGAN HATI  YANG AMAT YAKIN BAHAWA DOA TERSEBUT PASTI DIKABULKAN DAN KETAHUI BAHAWASANYA ALLAH TIDAK AKAN MENERIMA DOA YANG DATANG DARI HATI YANG LALAI"


At this age, (ecece macam tua je...hehe) i realized, what ever i asked from Allah S.W.T. Alhamdulillah he has answered my prayers, with time. For example, when i was an undergraduate, i really wanted a MYVI car. I saw a Chinese girl driving it to class. Admiring it, i wished silently to have one myself. Oh, how i admired it. but i knew i couldn't afford one. So, i prayed. Asking for one. I didn't get one straight away. It took me a year and a half. But, i still finally got it. Alhamdulillah............... And i was very happy.

ABU DZARR BERKATA," DOA AKAN MEMBUAHKAN HASIL APABILA DISERTAI DENGAN PERBUATAN YANG BAIK, SEBAGAINYA MAKANAN AKAN LEBIH TERASA APABILA DIBUBUH GARAM"

It has been said in the book that factors causing Allah S.W.T to not accepting the DOA, is because we are impatient to wait for the results. So, we finally stop asking and praying for it. Like growing a tree, we have to first plant the seed and wait for it to grow, giving it water and sufficient sunlight. A tree doesn't grow overnight right?

  There are also preper ways to say the DOA.
-facing the 'kiblat'
-lifting up both hands
-starting with 'zikir'
-in a 'suci' condition
-selawat kepada nabi Muhammad S.A.W.
-before DOA, make sure you ask for forgiveness, regretting mistakes we have done

-BONUS, 'bersedekah' dahulu

InshaAllah your prayers will be heard and will come true. Have faith.

YAHYA ibn MU'ADZ ar-RAZI BERKATA: "KENAPA KAMU TIDAK SABAR MENUNGGU JAWAPAN DARI SEBUAH DOA? PADAHAL KAMU SENDIRI YANG TELAH MELAMBATKAN DATANGNYA JAWAPAN ITU DENGAN DOSA-DOSA YANG TETAP KAMU LAKUKAN"

So i hope,this gives you motivation to have patience and faith when asking something from ALLAH S.W.T

I'm praying for a baby at the moment. Being my 4th month being married, i have always wanted a baby.
i won't give up praying and asking... InsyaAllah...
